As-Salâmu ‘Alaykum wa Raĥmatullâhi wa Barakâtuh
The inspiration for this simple poem came to me on Saturday, 8th October 2005, after the comments, looks and [mis]treatments (and questions) I received because of the hijâb in London after the 7/7 bombings.
