Behind the Name & This Website
My Arabic name Rabab Maher means Skilful (Maher) White Clouds (Rabab), hence the domain and website name.
This website is an eclectic, contrarian, colourful and candid wee world revolved around ♡ Islâm ♡, character, choice, clarity, conscientiousness, consciousness and creativity.
Skilful White Clouds stemmed from a dare between me and my hubby, which I “lost”, giving birth to this site, launched on 11.11.11 with a completely different intention but it is evolving in a different direction الْحَمْدُ لله.
What you will find dear valued reader on this little nook online for now are as follows:
Poetry, articles, reviews, quotations and the odd artwork by yours truly;
Words by and about my saving grace, my late dad Maher Abdullah رحمه الله;
Salvaged photography by my inspiration, my late brother Osama Maher رحمه الله.
