My Arabic name Rabab Maher means Skilful (Maher) White Clouds (Rabab), hence the domain and website name.
This website stemmed from a dare between me and my hubby, which I “lost”, giving birth to this site, launched on 11.11.11 with a completely different intention but it’s evolving in a different direction Al-Hamdu-Lilâh.
It‘s an eclectic, contrarian, colourful and candid wee world revolved around ♡ Islâm ♡, clarity, choice, consciousness, conscientiousness, consistency, creativity and character.
What you will find dear valued reader on this little nook online for now are as follows: Poetry, articles, quotations and recommendations, and the odd artwork by yours truly; words by and about my saving grace, my late dad Maher Abdullah رحمه الله; salvaged photography by my inspiration, my late brother Osama Maher رحمه الله, and the odd post by my hubby Khalid AlMahmoud.
As of 2023, the contents of the website will all be under the umbrella of HEART HEALING inshâ’Allâh.
Just as character- and self-growth and learning are a way of life and a lifelong consistent commitment and deliberate dedication, this website is no different as I continue to improve it as I improve myself Al-Hamdu-Lilâh.

I’m expressing myself predominantly as a writer, poet and an eclectic guide on this website.
I’m very much into language accuracy and word choice as they are what we repeatedly rewire our hearts and brains with affecting our deeds, effectiveness, efficiency, habits, inner talk, speech, commitment, dedication and consistency.
Writing is one way I process, declutter, neutralise, clarify and simplify, guiding me back to the principles, granting me the space to better breathe, learn, grow and realign ~ be they poetic bleedings flowing from the heart or captured persistent (and sometimes relentless) ideas, learnings, ponderings, reflections and thoughts incessantly floating in my mind.
Due to my ongoing eclectic experience, I amalgamate all that I’ve learned – and continue to learn – into my writings Al-Hamdu-Lilâh.
